Dislocation of the radial head with ipsilateral radial shaft fracture in adult is an uncommon injury. We considered it as variant of Monteggia fracture. With the forearm supinated, the direct trauma was applied on the proximal radius. The radius
was
fracutred proximally and at the same time the radial head was dislocated. We postulate the mechanism of injury.
